The Sheridan Maine Story

2001–2011 | Where It All Began

Sheridan Maine Recruitment was born, establishing a growing network of specialist offices across Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Southampton, Bristol and Basingstoke.

A decade of growth, great people and new relationships that laid the foundations for the Sheridan Maine of today.
2012–2018 | Growing the Family

Sheridan Maine expanded into London and Birmingham, extending our reach and strengthening our specialist recruitment network.

New locations brought new people, clients and opportunities as our reputation continued to grow - and the Sheridan Maine family grew with it.
2019 | Better Together

A landmark year as our separate franchises came together as one Sheridan Maine family.

By bringing our people, experience, expertise and relationships together under one leadership team, we created an even stronger business - while keeping the local knowledge and personal approach that had always made us Sheridan Maine.
2020 | Well, That Was Unexpected...

COVID-19 arrived and gave our newly united Sheridan Maine family quite the baptism of fire.

But when things got tough, our people pulled together, backed one another and kept going. We adapted, continued to perform and, somehow, still managed to smile along the way.

A challenging year that showed exactly what being one team really meant.
2022 | Serial Winners

By 2022, winning had become something of a habit, with Sheridan Maine continuing to enjoy success at the annual Pertemps Network Group Awards.

And speaking of family... did you know Pertemps Network Group is part of ours too?

A much bigger family of businesses, people and expertise that we're very proud to call home.
2023 | Work Hard. Play Hard. Together.

By 2023, we'd had more than a decade of practice at the having-a-good-time-together bit.

From summer incentives boogying in Ibiza to winter incentives hitting the slopes in Austria, our annual trips had been a Sheridan Maine tradition since 2011.

Add summer and Christmas parties, beer bikes, charity walks, darts, golf, karaoke, international rugby, Premier League football, escape rooms, treasure hunts and plenty of other shenanigans, and we've never needed much of an excuse to celebrate together.

Because while we take what we do seriously, being part of Sheridan Maine has always been about the people as much as the work.
2026 | Picking Winners

And then, of course, there's our love of horse racing.

Regular days at the races have become another Sheridan Maine tradition - bringing clients, colleagues and friends together for good company, a little friendly competition and, hopefully, a winner or two.

Although picking winners is what we do for a living, after all!
