Sheridan Maine is partnering with a well-established organisation in Central London to recruit a Temporary Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to support month-end reporting, budgeting, and management accounts preparation on a temporary basis, providing key insight to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant:
  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts and reports.
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and perform ad hoc financial analysis.
  • Assist with process improvements and reporting automation where applicable.
  • Provide support to the finance team with ad hoc projects and operational finance tasks.
Skills & Experience Required of the Management Accountant:
  • Proven experience in a management accountant or similar finance role.
  • Strong knowledge of management accounts, reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Confident using Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and prioritise competing tasks.
