Sheridan Maine is seeking a dedicated Tax and Accounts Senior to join a well-established and forward-thinking accountancy practice in London. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong technical skills and practice experience to take on a varied role with room for progression.

Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
-Complete personal and corporate tax returns.
-Provide clients with basic tax planning and advisory support.
-Support managers and partners with client-facing responsibilities.
-Review work prepared by junior staff and assist with training.
-Ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
-Communicate with HMRC on behalf of clients where necessary.
-Maintain strong client relationships and provide excellent service.

Requirements:
-ACCA/ACA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience.
-At least 3 years of experience in a UK accountancy practice.
-Good knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax legislation.
-Proficiency with software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or CCH.
-Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
