Sheridan Maine is working with a successful and well-established chartered accounting practice in Kent to recruit an Audit Senior. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team, delivering high-quality audit services to a diverse client portfolio, and to take a lead role in client engagements while developing your technical skills. 


Responsibilities of the Audit Senior include:

• Lead audit engagements from planning through to completion for a range of clients, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support on audit processes and best practices.
• Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their business and providing practical advice where appropriate.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports, identifying key risks and recommendations.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of audit methodology and internal processes. 

The successful Audit Senior will require the following skills and experience:

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with audit experience within a UK practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple audits concurrently.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
