Sheridan Maine is delighted to be partnering with a well-established chartered accountancy practice based in north London, who are seeking an Audit Senior to join their growing and supportive team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced auditor looking to take the next step in their career, gain exposure to a diverse client base, and play a key role in delivering high-quality audit services.

Key responsibilities of the Audit Senior:

• Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Reviewing and supervising the work of junior and semi-senior staff.
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements and audit files to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, providing clear guidance and support.
• Identifying and communicating audit risks and findings to senior management.
• Assisting with ad hoc accounts and audit-related projects as required.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a similar audit senior role within a UK practice environment.
• ACA/ACCA qualified (or near completion).
• Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• A proactive, client-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
