Sheridan Maine is partnering with a respected accountancy practice to recruit an Audit Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead audits across a diverse client portfolio, mentor junior team members, and play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality audit and accounts services.
 
Key Duties of the Audit Manager: 
  •  Lead and manage audits for a broad range of clients, including SMEs, owner-managed businesses, and charities.
  •  Prepare and review statutory and consolidated accounts in line with accounting standards.
  •  Supervise and develop junior and semi-senior team members, providing technical guidance and mentoring.
  •  Liaise directly with clients, partners, and directors, ensuring smooth delivery and strong relationships.
  •  Support business development and practice growth initiatives. 
 
Requirements for the Audit Manager: 
  •  ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualified.
  •  Proven experience managing audits within an accountancy practice.
  •  Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards, accounts preparation, and client management.
  •  Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  •  Commercially aware, motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
