Sheridan Maine is supporting a well-established and expanding accountancy practice in Worcestershire in the search for an Audit & Accounts Associate. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified accountant to develop their career in a supportive and professional environment, working on a variety of clients and gaining valuable experience across audit and accounts preparation.

Key responsibilities of an Audit and Accounts Associate:
- Assist with audit engagements across a diverse client portfolio.
- Prepare and review accounts for limited companies, charities, and other entities.
- Support the preparation of financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards.
- Work under the guidance of senior colleagues, providing accurate and timely deliverables.
- Contribute to a high standard of client service and help maintain strong client relationships.
- Participate in internal process improvements and support the smooth running of engagements.
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification (part-qualified or newly qualified considered).
- Experience in audit and accounts preparation preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge in accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Good communication and client service skills.
- Proactive, organised, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
