Semi-Senior Accountant – Audit & Accounts | Harrow 

Sheridan Maine is delighted to be partnering with a leading audit firm based in Harrow to recruit a Semi-Senior Accountant to join their growing and supportive team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified ACA / ACCA accountant or an ambitious Accounts Assistant / Audit Assistant looking to progress within a reputable accountancy practice, with full exposure to audit, accounts preparation, and client work.
 

The Role 

As a Semi-Senior Accountant, you will support the delivery of audit and accounting services to a diverse client base while continuing to build your technical skills and professional experience. 


Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with audit assignments, including fieldwork and testing
• Prepare statutory accounts and financial statements
• Support the preparation of corporation tax returns and computations
• Work closely with senior team members on client engagements
• Liaise with clients to gather information and resolve queries
• Ensure work is completed in line with UK accounting standards and deadlines
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and systems

 
About You
 
To be successful in this Semi-Senior Accountant job in Harrow, you will have:

• Part-qualified ACA / ACCA (or actively studying)
• Experience within an accountancy practice environment
• Exposure to audit and/or accounts preparation
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Good communication and organisational skills
• A proactive attitude and commitment to career progression
