Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead audits and accounts preparation for clients in accordance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP where applicable.
Supervise and mentor junior audit and accounts staff, providing guidance and training.
Plan, execute, and review audit procedures to ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality.
Prepare and review client financial statements, trial balances, and supporting schedules.
Identify accounting and control issues, provide recommendations, and communicate findings to clients.
Conduct client meetings to discuss audit progress, findings, and financial reporting.
Review and reconcile client ledgers, including income, expenditure, and balance sheet accounts.
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements for client accounts.
Support the preparation of VAT, payroll, and other statutory filings for clients.
Prepare audit working papers, schedules, and documentation to support audit conclusions.
