Conor is a Principal Consultant & Team Leader specialising in Accountancy Practice recruitment across London and the Southeast, including Hertfordshire, Surrey, Kent and Essex.
Having started his recruitment career in 2019 and specialised exclusively in the Practice market since 2022, Conor has developed a strong network and in-depth understanding of the sector. He works closely with accountancy practices ranging from independent boutiques to Top 100 firms, recruiting across Audit, Accounts and Tax from part-qualified professionals through to Managers, Senior Managers, Directors and Partners.
As a specialist Practice recruiter, Conor combines detailed market knowledge with a highly consultative and relationship-led approach. He takes the time to understand the wider requirements behind a vacancy, from technical capability and team structure to culture, business objectives and long-term career progression, allowing him to identify candidates who are the right fit rather than simply matching CVs to job descriptions.
Known for his attention to detail, strong candidate assessment and straightforward approach, Conor provides clients with honest insight into the market, including candidate availability, salary expectations and the challenges surrounding particular appointments. He works closely with both clients and candidates throughout the process, ensuring communication remains clear and expectations are well managed from initial brief through to successful placement.
